Frequently asked questions
PVC or mesh?
Mesh lets the wind through and is what we recommend on open sites and on the seafront. PVC gives stronger colour and works well in sheltered spots or for a few days.
How big is a site fence?
A standard site fence panel is about 3.5 m long and 2 m high: the 338 × 174 cm banner covers the panel and leaves room to tie it. Event crowd barriers are about 2 m by 1 m, hence the 208 × 82 and 215 × 73 cm sizes. If your fences are different, send us the exact size.
How is it fitted?
With cable ties through the eyelets, tied to the fence every 30 cm. It goes up in minutes and comes off by cutting the ties.
How long does it last outdoors?
Materials and inks are made for outdoor use: they handle sun and rain for a normal building project. For campaigns of more than a year, tell us and we will advise on the material.
