Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a shop banner and a pole flag?
The shop banner hangs from a short pole fixed to the front of the building and has a shaped cut, so it reads from the pavement. The pole flag is rectangular and flies from a standing or wall pole, like the ones outside hotels and clubs.
Can you see it from the back?
Yes, the ink goes through the fabric and the design reads mirrored. So it helps if the logo and text still make sense reversed, or if the flag is mainly seen from one side of the street.
How long does a boat flag last?
With sea wind and sun, a flag that flies every day lasts one season, three to five months. Many customers order two or five at once so they can swap it halfway through the summer.
Do you supply the pole?
The flags come without a pole. If you need a pole or wall bracket, tell us in the order and we will find one for you.
