Terms and conditions
These terms apply to all orders and quotes you place with Denia Print, through the website, by email or in person, whether you are a private individual or a business. By placing an order you accept them. If anything is unclear, ask us first at [email protected].

1. How to place an order
You configure the product on the website (or tell us what you need) and send us the form with your details. You immediately receive an email with your reference (DP-…).
That submission is a request. The contract is concluded when we confirm the price and the expected delivery date to you in writing, or when you accept a written quote on your order page. If we cannot do the job, we tell you and you owe us nothing.
You can follow your order on its status page (the link is in the confirmation email) or in your customer area.
2. Quotes
Quotes are free and without obligation. They are valid until the date they state (usually 14 days) and are based on what you told us: if you change the quantity, the options or the job, the price may change.
When you accept a quote on your order page, it becomes an order at that price.
3. Prices
Prices are in euros. On the website they are shown excluding VAT (IVA) and with VAT (21 %) included. The price includes shipping to your address in the countries we ship to; express delivery has the surcharge you see when you choose it.
Graphic design and the installation of vinyl or signs are not included: we quote them separately, before we start.
The price we confirm to you in writing is the price you pay. If a price on the website contains an obvious error, we let you know before production and you can cancel at no cost.
4. Payment
You pay nothing when you order. You pay once we confirm that the order goes ahead (usually when you approve the digital proof). On your order page you see the amount and the payment methods: by card (also with your phone), Bizum or bank transfer, with your reference as the payment description. If you collect in Dénia, you can also pay on collection, in cash or by card.
We put the order into production once we receive payment, unless we agree otherwise with you.
5. Your file, the design and the digital proof
You can send us your file, design it with the online editor on the website or have us do the design (quoted separately). We check your file for free (bleed, resolution, colours, margins) and let you know if something might go wrong.
Before printing we send you a digital proof. Check it carefully: texts, spelling, contact details, colours and position. Nothing is printed without your approval. Once approved, errors that were already visible in the proof are your responsibility.
You guarantee that you have the right to use what you send us (logos, photos, texts, trademarks) and that its content is lawful. We may refuse jobs with content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes the rights of others.
If we design for you, the final files are yours once the design has been paid for.
6. Colours and tolerances
Colours on screen are not the same as on paper: every screen and every paper shows them differently. RGB files are converted to CMYK for printing; if a colour changes a lot, we let you know.
Small colour differences between print runs or compared with the screen, and a cutting and folding margin of 1 to 2 mm, are normal and are not considered defects. That is why we recommend leaving 3 mm of bleed and not placing important text close to the edge.
7. Lead times and delivery
Lead times are in working days and count from when you approve the proof (and, where applicable, from payment). The date we give you is an estimate; we do our best to meet it, but transport may be delayed.
If you need the order by a specific date (an event, an opening), tell us before you order and we will tell you whether we can make it.
We deliver to the address you give us; check that it is correct. When you receive the parcel, check it and note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery note. If you choose to collect in Dénia, we agree with you on where and when.
If the delay is significant, you can give us a reasonable additional period; if the order still does not arrive within that period, you can cancel it and we refund what you have paid.
8. Cancellations and right of withdrawal
Everything we print is made to order with your design. That is why, under article 103.c of the Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios (the Spanish General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users), there is no 14-day right of withdrawal for these products.
You can cancel free of charge as long as you have not approved the proof. If we have already done quoted design work, you pay for that work. By approving the proof you give the go-ahead for production: from that moment the order can no longer be cancelled or changed, even if you have not paid yet.
9. Complaints and guarantee
If something is not right, write to us as soon as possible at [email protected] with your reference and a few photos. We ask you to do so within 7 days of delivery so we can check it with the workshop and the carrier.
If the order has a printing or production defect, or does not match the proof you approved, we reprint it or refund the amount for what is wrong, at your choice when a reprint is not possible.
If you are a consumer, you always keep the legal guarantee of conformity that the law gives you. Official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) are available to you: ask for them at [email protected].
10. Liability
We are not responsible for errors in content you approved in the proof, or for delays caused by transport or by causes beyond our control.
If you are a business or a professional, our liability is limited to the amount of the order and does not cover indirect damage such as loss of profit. This limitation does not apply to consumers beyond what the law allows.
11. Personal data
We use your data to handle your order, as explained in the privacy policy.
12. Applicable law and courts
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts of your place of residence. If you are a business, the parties submit to the courts of Dénia.
We may update these terms; each order is subject to the terms in force on the day you place it.
